With the government shut down Mike and I decided we needed a hike to replace the Aravaipa Canyon hike that probably wouldn't take place. Wouldn't you know it that as soon as we had the weekend planned the people in charge (?) finally got it going again. The $5 I guess was donated to the ailing government.

Fossil Creek was nice as usual. And this time there were no unseen biting bugs to mar the trip. Being a weekday there were only about a dozen people we saw on the trip. Only 3 others were at the falls. No big surprises as usual this place never changes. Except for discovering peeing rock (Mike's apropos name, see attached picture).

Great weather for a nice hike.
