I had to wait to post this because I was angry. Someone went through a portion of this hike paining white dots on boulders to mark the trail. I couldn't believe it. If they are too stupid to find the trail then they should realize that they are just too stupid to do the hike. Don't mark the trail with spray paint! I'll attach a picture. The dots are just in the central part of the trail, so I would guess they came up from Ahwatukee on one of the side trails. I didn't notice the spots on the 15th when I did this hike last. So they were probably placed there between the 15th and the 23rd.

Other than that it was a beautiful day for a hike.
