| no partners | | Since I had never been to Charlebois Spring, Larry suggested we head out there. We took the Dutchman Trail the whole way to survey the hike Larry wants to do next week. That added a few miles to the hike and made it the longest hike I've done.
A perfect morning turned into a perfect day for a long hike. We were passed early on by two gents on horseback. We followed horseshoe tracks all the way to the spring where we finally caught up to them having lunch! We saw lots of great sights along the way and were amazed at how much water was around. The pools at the spring were full and the whole Charlebois area was very cool. We talked about coming back and going up canyon some day to explore.
We made great time getting back to the car and were treated to a beautiful sunset and moonrise! A great way to end another awesome day!! |
