Day off from school so I got the kids out on the mountain. It had been a couple years since they went up and neither had been to 5024. Since they both participate in high school sports now I figured we should test their conditioning and prep them for a Ridgeline attempt in the upcoming months. They are in great shape and had no problem making the climb! Took them around to the south-side of Flatiron to see the bird show, then we headed up to the peak. We were surprised to have it to ourselves for 30 minutes on such a busy day! By then they were ready to head into town for food. La Casita in AJ was their choice and we enjoyed!!
