I lucked out with the perfect day to start training for hiking season! The clouds were hanging low over the Flatiron and the air was clean and fresh after a storm had just rolled thru AJ. The trail was nearly empty and once past the wilderness sign you could hear water flowing all around! I got up to the base of the basin where there was a nice stream flowing out. The falls were flowing more than I had ever seen too! Then it started to rain, which was nice but made the way down off the slick rock a bit more intense. The guys at the top off the slide really had their work cut out for them!
