| no partners | | | We drove about a mile into the 'Goldfields' from Blue Point to begin our hike along the Salt River to Gateway Canyon. We went to the west into Rhyodacite Canyon to find the arch and cave. This is one of the most beautiful canyons in the Goldfields. It is a lot of climbing over boulders and through catclaw, but worth the trouble. See Glen's recent 'Rhyodacite' photoset and triplog for more information. This is a definite 'must see' for Arizona hikers. |
