After coming down the South Kaibab trail and spending the night at Phantom Ranch, we deliberated on spending another night at the ranch. There were a number of cancellations and space was available, but we decided to press on before the colder weather reached the South Rim. We shared our dorm with a Kiwi and an Aussie and found more of each along the trail. The dorm was half full. We found the Bright Angel Trail to be much more beautiful than the South Kaibab with lots of flora and fauna. We meandered up and took in some sidelights. A great hike that I would recommend to anyone fit enough to do it.
