I haven't been able to get out and do a lot of hiking lately, so I figured why not spend the evening scrambling around Papago Park. I was rewarded with a pair of beautiful owls who watched observantly as I risked my life scrambling up the side of a sheer face to get that perfect picture. It was definitely worth it. I wonder if these are the same guys some of you other HAZ phoenicians have been spotting?
