Took my first hike this year in the South Mountains. Went up the Mormon trail then around Hidden Valley. It was a busy day on the trail and the parking lot was full by the time I headed back down around 10am. No Lizards or snakes, a few woodpeckers were out and some chipmunks. Overall a very pleasant hike.
