I was visiting Tucson and my friend and I decided to check out Ventana Canyon. It had rained the previous night but apparently not in the frontal range of the Catalinas as the Canyon had no sign of water....very unfortunate. The canyon was look very green from the monsoon rains and we only passes a few hikers. Overall it wasn't the best experience, but hey, not every hike can be amazing.
