| partners | | First time in the Goldfields but was expecting similar to Supes since it's right next door. Welcoming Jack back to AZ we headed out from the TH down Willow Springs Canyon at a leisurely pace. Hiking in there a few narrow sections with nice rocks and some caves on the canyon walls that we checked out. However, half way to Bagely Tank we made a wrong turn and ended up above Willow Springs Canyon. Really nice views of the entire area and took the opportunity to bag a small peak once we realized we were off track.
No worries we made the correction and headed back down to Willow continuing down canyon. Eventually we made it to Bagely Tank for our lunch spot about noon. Lots of water in the tank and green grass to enjoy lunch. After lunch made our way back the same way minus the small detour. Great hike...cool to do a new area and plan on exploring the area more. The Little Four Peaks looks interesting! |
