Third time around this one this month. Clockwise today. Last Monday in my hiking sandals, today in my new merrell shoes. Trying to get the feet ready for more serious backpacking to come. Saw two large groups of scouts at Garden Valley, but no one camped anywhere in Boulder Canyon. Hard to believe since there are numerous campsites, abundant firewood, and plenty of flowing water throughout. Heavy traffic on the Dutchman's all the way back to the trail head as would be expected.
