The second day of our Labor Day weekend camping trip.
My cousin had this route planned out. We hiked a road down to the North Fork of the White River. We then hiked the river back to the campsite. No real trail at the river. We had to cross it a few times. We where in no hurry. We stopped to fish, and just enjoy the perfect weather.
We asked a few of the Apache Reservation guides/Forest Rangers. We would get different stories of what was off limits and what wasn't. As far as we know, as long as we where hiking rivers or streams, this hike was not off limits. (With permits)
