| no partners | | | I had hoped to make it to the river at Topock Gorge but got off on a wrong road which wound around through a deep gully where there was little view of the terrain, but I knew I was heading too far south. On my way back I saw where I had made the wrong choice. I saw the track leading west. Hoping to get back there soon and try again. It's not all cut-and-dried, the way it looks on the maps, because of years of wash-outs and also many new Jeep tracks running around everywhere. |
