On the way up a few stray sprinkles greeted me in the desert. The wind was picking up slightly, but nothing out of the ordinary. Upon reaching the top of Flatiron, however, the wind was absolutely atrocious. I've only felt it that windy up there one other time and that was a ridiculous night. It was bone chilling, especially coming from the heat of the climb up, with almost non-existent wind. Thankfully I still had my rain gear packed from Humphreys.
