I was roughly 450 feet short of 400K AEG for the year and was going to head out to Picketpost. Upon leaving home, however, I noticed that the mountain was completely shrouded in clouds. I adore being out in the clouds so I adjusted my plans accordingly, let the fiance know of the changes, and off I went.

The rock today was incredibly slick. Although there was not much in the way of precipitation (only right around the basin area for me) everything was soaked. At times it was like a slip and slide but it made for a fun excursion. I saw a few people ill-prepared for the conditions coming back down during my ascent. If you are going to walk into a cloud make sure that you aren't wearing jeans and a hoodie.

The way down was not as bad as I originally had thought it to be and I made really excellent time.
