Another day filling in at the Scottsdale restaurant had me hiking in the afternoon. Todays trail of choice was Skull Mesa from Spur Cross. I forgot how rough this terrain can be in spots. Still a fun hike with great views from the top.

This one got me eyeing Black Mesa which I have never done. Maybe next week? Anyone ever go from Black Mesa up to the top of New River Mesa?
