Superstition Peak 5024 - Siphon Draw

Started my trek up a little after 1:30pm. Only crossed paths with a couple others and had both the Flatiron and 5024 to myself. On the way down from 5024 I grabbed a tree as I was passing by and a snake came out of the tree. What heck? He landed right in front of me and then slithered into the bushes.

Then on the way out of the park there was a coyote just standing in the road near the Park Entrance. I honked the horn and he subtly walked off.

Today I actually sat down at the edge of the Flatiron and enjoyed the view and the breeze for a bit. Nice trip up!
