Ah the Catalinas. Somehow I never get tired of hiking them and today was no exception. Lee and I headed out fairly early so I could get back and close a Real Estate deal.

The Grass is getting long and it takes a keen eye to follow the trail in places above the 4 mile mark. I lost the trail for a short bit on the way up and then it happened again in the same spot on the way down. ](*,)

Outside of that it was just an enjoyable hike all the way around. This one will put you to the test and long pants wouldn't be a bad idea right now with all the overgrowth.

We encountered water in the canyon from the dam on up. The flow wasn't heave however one could certainly filter if need be.
