Started the Road Walk at the Gate just after the Lower Picnic Area...Walked almost to the Top before turning around...They have got to be considering opening that Road soon, looks like maybe some Minor Shoulder Work is all that's Left...That Road is a Super Highway now.... 
Amazingly, alot of the Maples were still Green...Had to work a bit to find "Patches" of good Color...There were a few Stretches that were good. If that Canyon would go off all at once, it would simply be Overwhelming.... 
According to the "Sign" at the Entrance, and the Entrance Guards, this Canyon is completely Closed. But it appears that it is just Closed to Vehicle Traffic. I ran into several People before the Upper Picnic Area and then I had the Place to myself. No Road Work being done and the only Traffic was a couple of BP Vehicles.... 
Spent all Day in there and it was a Good Day....  |
