| no partners | | | I wanted to get one more trip to Trap Canyon to look for an old mine but I decided on a shorter route. I found some skull pieces up on a ridge above Whiskey Spring trail. There were not enough pieces and no jaw bone to determine what they are from but it is not a small animal. I explored the cliffs and looped back. I took short cut canyon from Whiskey Spring trail to Dutchman. It may not be worth it but it saves time and it's a nice change if you've done the trail several times recently. The next detour was the Don's spur on the way out. Interesting route but I lost it near the end and bushwacked done to the trail again. It was a nice day to be out hiking. |
