It was last minute so we didn't know if it would have worked out anyway. We attempted to stop at the INA road Starbucks on the way but it was gone? Boone was sure it used to be there. 
Once we arrived at the TH at 7:45am it was about 74 degrees. The route up was shaded most of the way until the last mile. Boone spied a twin-spotted rattlesnake just beyond the saddle which was cool to see. About .8 miles from the top we ran into Nick? How did he know we would be there? 
After hitting the summit we hiked down for some shade to take a snack break. There were several hikers on trail but the temps seemed mild and the occasional breeze was nice. The temp was 90 degrees at the finish. This turned out to be a great hike...if only it were in the Supes.
