Rim Trail - Village to Mather Point

Went down BA to Indian Gardens then back to get my first taste of canyon hiking. We took Rim Trail from Mather Point to BA TH around 7 AM and we were dropping into the canyon around 8 AM. The weather was great, a little warm at the beginning of the ascent but we beat the heat back to the top. I didn't have to stop once on the ascent (except for a mule trail), which felt great!
