Hiked AZT Passage #13. Great terrain. Some areas were overgrown, but a good chunk of the trail was recently maintained.

Saw some deer, quail, and had a VERY close encounter with a Mojave Rattlesnake! It was just off the side of the trail, hidden in high brush. He coiled, rattled, and hissed, but did not attempt to strike.

No sources of water along the trail, but there is a water cache box at the trail registry near the underpass at the 77 and Tiger Mine Road. It was full of water jugs for hikers.
