Took the Lost Ranch Ruins trail up to the ruins, then north and up on an old trail that follows a drainage to a somewhat large mine. It's a pretty area up there with the exposed rocks to climb over, and quite a few Bursera trees back in there. Since I had already climbed most of the way up, rather than go back down just to regain again, I decided to continue up the drainage then up the side of the ridge and connect to Lost Ranch Mine trail. I took that up to National, west on National, then back down Lost Ranch Ruins. Quiet morning, and it stayed nice and cool until after 9:30.
