Pleasant early morning hike with Daniela. We went up Bursera, then followed the ridgeline for a while, cutting down roughly even to where Bursera crosses the big wash. Then we went west on Gila for a little bit, over the ridge and connected to National on the other side. Took National east to Lost Mine, then down, and back to the trailhead. Nice weather all morning--cool and breezy--except for on Lost Mine, I swear there is NEVER a breeze on that side of the hill. Didn't see anyone else until we were back within 1/2 mile of the trailhead.
