| partners | | | Celina and I took our four kids between us to the stone building above Telegraph Pass. Her two kids are the same age (and in the same classes actually) as my kids, so they've been friends since the eldest ones first started preschool. We got started around 7:30. Nice and cool out, and the kids were in great moods, although Celina's five year old daughter announced "I'm not going to like this" while we still in the parking lot. We made it to the building a lot faster than I had thought we would, and the kids had a snack and played at the top for about half an hour. It started to get busy up there, so we headed back down, and again, made it down a little faster than I had expected out of the kids. I think today was the first time I didn't really have to hold my son's hand on the way back down Telegraph. Fun morning with all the kids, and when it cools off more, we'll have to try a longer hike with them. |
