| no partners | | | I went on a 5 day river rafting trip on the Owyhee River of south eastern Oregon with a group of 10 friends I met while living in Oregon. All of the guys except for myself and Al played football for the Oregon State Beavers in the late 1960s and have remained friends ever since. Momentum River Expeditions provided four river guides, the four rafts, two inflatable kayaks, camping equipment and food needed for the journey. The trip lasted five days starting on May 5 at the BLM Launch Ramp in Rome, OR, and ended at the historic Birch Creek Ranch site about 50 miles down river. It was a great trip with a congenial group of guys on this scenic river in a remote part of eastern Oregon. |
