Another hike with my upstairs neighbor Jackie and her friend Sandy. This time we headed to Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area in Cave Creek Canyon. We hiked the 6.3 mile Spur Cross Loop which includes the less traveled Limestone Trail in the Tonto National Forest bordering the conservation area. It was a beautiful AZ spring day in a lush desert wonderland. Lots of wild flowers, a couple of creature sightings, and several creek crossings where we stopped to cool our feet before completing the last mile.
