| no partners | | I'm currently in the process of moving and have not been able to get out at all so this little hike was purely to maintain my sanity and get a breath of much needed fresh mountain air!
There was surprisingly only a handful of cars parked at the TH, perhaps the looming afternoon thunderstorm scared them all off.
It started with a light sprinkle and once I made it on the Waterline Rd. is when there was a brief downpour which lasted long enough to get my clothes fairly wet.
I originally wanted to check out Snowslide Spring but instead just relaxed and took advantage of all the nice cloud cover and took some photos within the Inner Basin.
Lots of lingering snow in all of the shaded areas above 9500ft made for a nice contrast with the green grass and patches of dandelions flourishing about.
Summer on the San Francisco Peaks truly makes me feel at peace inside, there's no place like home! |
