| partners | | It was such a pleasure to finally meet everyone which made for the largest group I've ever hiked with!
I backpacked and explored off The Point Trail in my pre Hazzer days but I did not venture downstream at all so for the most part this trip was all new scenery for me.
It also seems like downstream sees a tad less visitation which is ironic because in my opinion the geology and views only get better in that direction.
We had no true swimmers that day although I could not resist to take a refreshing swim in one of the many idyllic swimming holes we passed by.
For the most part it was just a lot of wading and easy creek walking which made for such a relaxing Saturday.
Everyone hiked out and went back to setup camp in the late afternoon and I hung out in the canyon for a few hours to take photos until the last light down there.
Great weekend in some beautiful country with an awesome group of people, trip well done! |
