| no partners | | | New Year's morning I checked out of the motel in Borrego Springs to begin my journey back to Arizona. On the way to the Salton Sea I took a side trip to see several groupings of palm trees located south of Highway S-22 along Arroyo Salada. Seventeen Palm and nearby Five Palm were visited; I skipped looking for Una Palma, also in the area. The trees are quite nice and located in a peaceful scenic area. From the Salton Sea I headed up through the Mecca Hills to I-10. Continued on through Blythe, eventually reaching my destination for night three of the trip: My Place Suites in Wickenburg. (home to Tucson the next day) |
