| no partners | | Lots of water down south right now. Good drive in, crossed 7 flowing washes, parked at the oak tree. Canyon had a lot of water, so I gave up and just drowned the boots. As usual got to the one place too late for good light for pictures. The bottom was boggy and green and water filled. Some small waterfalls. Went down aways and turned around.
Coming out the storms started cranking up and the thunder and lightning made me glad I was close to the FJ. On the drive out drove into a heavy monsoon cloudburst, got a car wash and came out behind a closed road sign as the washes were starting to flood Arivaca road.
If I can get my carcass out of bed I'll be back down tomorrow to another water filled site. |
