Possibly the last trip here for the year. No cars in the parking lot, but 10 people with backpacks waiting for a ride. Said they started at Willow Canyon.
All bridges at the four crossings are washed away from recent flooding. All still easy to cross. Saw three more folks after the 7 mile mark down at the creek. Then, another 3 returning from the falls later that day whilst napping in my hammock, for a total of 16 people, most I've seen on a Thursday here.
Friday I saw nobody at all. Camera battery died. Made my way to the falls for the day's highlight. Caught fish for dinner as usual. Quiet night back at camp.
Saturday on the hike out I ran into three camped just downstream from me. No other people until after the third crossing.
The usual swimming holes and rope swings were packed.
Yeah! No flat tires!
