Been doing the solo parent thing for four days now, bout time we got out out to the Supes and enjoy some water. First meltdown was 20’ from parking lot, things could only got better after that. We zagged at the ranch to get more creek time in which was enjoyable all around. Ended up continuing on First Water, taking plenty of breaks to watch swimming bugs and toss rocks, even the youngest (19 mons) got in the action (fervently so, had to fish her out twice). We took the usual tributary back out before even reaching Hackberry, kids were tuckered out so goal was accomplished.
