Meridian TH to Bulldog Saddle Easy climb that got the blood flowing on a cool and windy morning.
Bulldog saddle to FR10 This was a nice section of the hike which included use trails, off trail, and wash hiking. During this section we saw one deer and 6 wild horses.
FR10 Typical FR hiking with stellar views on both sides. We mixed it up a bit by hiking along the road and in the canyon in some sections. No motorized vehicles encountered. Found a really nice ridge to enjoy an early lunch. Saw 3 wild horses in this section.
Deer Tank Trail to use trail This is the trail that runs from the Idaho TH to the Mask. Very pleasant hiking.
Deer Tank Trail to TH Located and hiked a use trail that climbs to the south saddle of the 3108 Ridgeline which was a nice highlight. The views on the saddle were really nice. From there we made our way down the opposite side of the saddle joining the well used trail back to the TH.
Really nice Goldfield hike. |
