Alta Trail

Linda and I took the Alta trail up to Maricopa Peak and back. Up the east down the west (peak) then back on Alta. With the grandkids yesterday and Linda today I might have to recant on the smell of Scorpion Weed. Joe may be right. They stunk today. Bruce was right also about the two different purple flowers. I may have smelled the wrong ones before. Saying Joe and Bruce were right on the same day was a tough one! Linda had this timed about right. We kept a step ahead of the rain the whole time. A couple nice sections of Poppies around the second mile or so. The Bursera are looking good as well. Thanks Linda. Good hike!
