Bro-in-law and his wife were in town visiting from MN to escape from the cold and snow. We thought this would be a nice hike for them that was not too long but offered a nice workout and iconic Sedona views. It did not disappoint. Last time we did this it was a lot warmer for Wiski. This time it was cooler and super windy although she was a couple of years older now at 11.5 and all the rock hopping was not that forgiving on the back and hind legs. She got up on top just fine, but we saw quite a number of dogs on the trail and none got to the top. We roamed on the summit for about 30 minutes before heading back down to the car. Afterwards, we took them to the GC South Rim for sunset and sunrise views. The wind on the Rim was brutal Saturday morning.
