While planning our next site hunt I realized we needed to just get boots on the ground and scope out the area. I had a place in mind to checkout knowing it wasn't the location, but at least I can scratch off that area and we could get a grasp of what to expect. I thought of the CannondaleKid and his fence from hell when we parked a hundred feet from a fence and after just under half a mile we finally got across. Crawling at our age ain't petty. We did stumble on a nice little lookout and some great views of the Verde River. We also found a perfectly round mano, something we've never seen before. It appears our next foray will be in a few months, but with a better location possibility.
