The weekend before last Deb and I were hiking the center section of the Black Canyon Tr. While I was stopped doing some floral re-hydration research, Deb says I see walls. Yes armed with her trusty binocs she points out a hilltop complex. We realize though that it will not be done that day and we'll save it for later. I decided via GE to come down from the north, eliminating extreme elevations changes for Deb. Turns out to be what all of central AZ mesas are made of, roundy lava rock ankle twisty stuff with a good plant layer hiding most of the rocks, cactus and rattlesnakes. As one gets older this stuff doesn't become anymore enjoyable.
It turned out to be a decent little village, but more of a as Deb said ....We saw it and we made it to it, job done!
