I like hiking up to Mount Wrightson a time or 2 each year, and today was the day for my first time to hike it in 2021.

From the TH, we took the Old Baldy Trail up to the summit. Coming back, we took the Old Baldy Trail to Josephine Saddle, and then took the Super Trail back to the TH. Taking the Super Trail from Josephine Saddle to the TH instead of staying on the Old Baldy Trail probably added about a mile to the hike. However, the tread on the Super Trail is much, much better than the Old Baldy Trail, so it was a much more enjoyable hike back and it didn't add too much time.

There were a few people out on the trail, but not TOO many.

The weather was near perfect. Snow is long gone from the trail.

We saw several Mexican Jays on the Super Trail less than a mile from the TH. The jays weren't camera shy, so we felt obligated to take a few pics.
