When I asked them how the falls looked, many were not even aware of the existence of the falls. Most apparently did not venture very far. Did the counterclockwise loop, starting on Jacob's Trail and turning southeast. The entire loop was well-maintained, heavily cairned, and pretty rocky. Views were great with the clouds. Falls had light to moderate flow 2 days after the rain. A lot of people at the falls. Picked up a couple discarded water bottles near the falls, but in general the people there were good about packing out. Did some climbing around the falls, then headed back. Took our time to enjoy the views. |
