Went up to the Rim for an afternoon to explore and see some fall colors. Enjoyed the fall vibes, played in the leaves, then decided to check out Knoll Lake.

Parked where the Babe Haught Trail crosses FR #300. Walked up the Babe Haught Trail, enjoying the views. No fall colors here, all pines. Walked along the east leg of Knoll Lake. Met 3 groups of campers, 4 kayakers, and 2 dogs. Relaxed at the central part of the lake, watching the sun reflect off the lake, the island, and the trees on the far shore. There was a cluster of trees on the far shore that displayed full fall colors. One kayaker in the distance was kickin it to Wu Tang Clan while paddling. We enjoyed the tunes, then headed up to the forest road and looped back. No other fall colors along this route.
