| no partners | | On most yearly NYE Days and definitely on an AZ cloudy, windy, cold, and wet ones I enjoy going to Sprouts Farmers Market on December 30th and buying some of most every available fresh soup vegetable to make a large 10 quart pot of "Vegetable Soup" on NYE Day- Dec 31st.
I always begin on December 30th pm with at least 2 hours of vegetable prep for overnight in the refrigerator. Late morning of NYE- Dec 31st I prepare a soup base of water, a large container of liquid chicken stock, two ham hocks, and many other spices including two bay leaves, fresh graded garlic, black pepper, chopped red/yellow peppers, chopped white onion, and chives.
This 2019 NYE I started cooking at 10am and was enjoying fresh veggie soup at 12:noon. I always compliment my soup with heated corn tortillas/butter  .. Now ~ten quarts of wonderful, fresh NYE 2019 veggie soup and only me over for lunch..lol |
