So nice to get out of the heat even just for several hours. This section has newly constructed trail and was very pleasant to trail run. Parked on the west side of Bargaman Park running past Bargaman Tank and through the park. Then continued southbound past Pine Mountain and Wild Horse Tank. From Wild Horse Tank there is a slight hill and then good flat stretch on new trail. Eventually dropped down to Daves Tank where it was time to turn around. Returned the same way back with more uphill than southbound. Back at the truck we enjoyed a beverage, some snacks and great temperatures. It was difficult to leave but fortunately everyone was still on 4th of July weekend so traffic was very light :D
