| partners | | | Upon being intrigued by some petroglyphs on a different loop hike, I wanted to find a more direct access point. The route ended up being very straightforward and easy to follow. The petroglyphs were quite interesting and we took our time enjoying them. On the return route, I spotted another set of ruins and an overhang with very random items inside! We decided not to continue in hartwell canyon as we were unsure if it would be worth it in the heat of the day. Would possibly return, in cooler weather. after more research. Next up headed to Loy canyon to check out the ruins and possibly find more. The last time I was in this set of ruins, the waterfall was flowing, and crossing to the other side was not possible, so was excited to do that this time! Also, got to a high point in the canyon for some incredible views! |
