After our hike over at Buck Springs, the plan was to get in some kayaking on knoll lake.
Deb decided it was too cold and windy, so while she waited in the car, I took a quick spin around the lake. I was the only boat on the lake when I started.
There was about a 20mph headwind heading out. One of those winds that if you stopped even for a moment, you were loosing ground. I made my way CW around. There are a few pockets of yellow aspens, which always look nice against the pines.
The trip back was much easier. I even was able to use my paddle as a sorta-sail.
The lake appears to be down 20 or so feet currently.
