Winter isn't quite here yet despite snowbowl being open. Cold and windy enough that I definitely wouldn't want to come back in winter. Coincidentally, the highest temperature recorded in Phoenix at sky harbor since I moved here in July of 2015 was 119 degrees. It seems fitting that I now also have 119 Humphrey summits.

The trail isn't too bad, but it is pretty icy. Spikes or something would make it easier. Despite this, there were a lot of people out, but it was still not crowded. Definitely, it was nothing like my last time here.

There is still construction at the resort, which is noisy and if you are hiking when the snow canons are running you can enjoy the weird odor of reclaimed water. It's kind of musty.

I wonder what kind of a winter the mountain will have.
