I decided to escape some of the heat from the Valley and head up to Flag and hike up to Humphreys again -- this was ascent #19 for me. I have a ways to go to catch @Jim_H though!

I don't mind going up the Humphreys Summit Trail, but I hate going down it. Hopefully I will come to my senses and do future Humphreys hikes from the Inner Basin.

It looks like the lower end of the gene pool has decided to make Humphreys Peak their mecca -- it looked like a pig sty at the summit: food wrappers, cigarette butts, food waste, sunflower seeds, painted rocks, and all manner of garbage littered the summit. I guess that is par for the course in 2020!
