Kiwanis Trail - South Mountain

I thought I would head out on my favorite part of the loop hike I have done twice this month now, the National Trail west, out to as far as time would allow. Time allowed for me to get to the deep mine shaft out at the far end of the loop. I came up the Kiwanis Trail because I like that canyon and the trail above the pass. It reminds me of Finger Rock Canyon.

The trails were kinda busy today, perhaps because it was late week or because it was cooler. Still, not bad. I took pictures, but it wasn't as nice as a few days ago.
